"Lil Whittie" Session #3

19 girls ages 5-11 participated in todays 3rd "Lil Whittie" Clinic.  Today's value..... "Dedication".  Our players discussed with the girls what it means to be dedicated to a team and how to be a great teammate.
We emphasized the skill of setting.  Lil Whittie's practice setting with volleylite balls and balloons. They attempted and succeeded at setting the balls into the catch it.  Final session will be on March 1st.

Aloha All!  These are photos of our 2nd session "Lil Whittie" clinic!  These girls are having so much fun learning and playing the sport of volleyball.  Our Whitman women are excellent motivators and teachers!  We have two more sessions, 2/22 and 3/1, from 3-4:30.  Love promoting this amazing sport!

I am very excited to start our new blog page.  Our returners have already started working hard to prepare for the 2014 season.  The team is getting into yoga and working hard to get in as many reps during open gym. Excited to start our non traditional season after spring break.
